Microdermabrasion Question and Answer

What is Microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion uses aluminum oxide crystals to finely resurface superficial layers of the skin. The crystals pass over the skin and are then removed from the skin's surface with a vacuuming pressure to stimulate reproduction by fibroblasts at the basal layer, and new cell growth and blood flow. There is minimal discomfort and a rapid appearance of the desired benefits. It is an easy way to evenly and safely exfoliate the skin without chemicals or lasers.
