What are the benefits?

How does it work?

When will you see results?

Effects are cumulative. After the first treatment, you might see improvements. The number of lesions and severity of break-outs should reduce over the course of treatment and beyond. Some patients continue to improve two months after their last treatment.

How often can you have it done?

The typical course of treatment is over two months, one treatment every other week. However, your doctor might recommend a different treatment schedule. Maintenance therapy is typically recommended. What can you expect immediately post-treatment? Immediately following the procedure you may experience some redness and slight swelling. The redness and swelling usually dissipate within one to three day. If necessary, makeup can be applied to the treated area immediately. It is extremely important to apply a moisturizer with zinc or titanium based sunblock and avoid sun exposure on a daily basis to prevent additional sun damage.

Do these treatments permanently stop acne?

Many patients find long-term remission. However, everyone’s skin is different and no treatment is foolproof. We offer treatments that represent effective, long-awaited relief to hundreds of patients.
